Alaska, here we come.

It's been 2 years in coming. Only 10 days left to go. Our original Alaska cruise was scheduled just when the pandemic started to infect our plans, so to speak. With the Canadian border closed to non-essential travel, we just weren't welcome.  You could, however, choose to travel up the outside of Vancouver Island in the open ocean or up through the inside passage, only stopping to get gas but not get off the boat.  Unfortunately, if that option was chosen, by the time we crossed the US Canadian border into Alaska in the small spaces of a boat for 10-15 days, my wife and I would probably be picking apart each others personality and idiosyncrasies, line item by line item.  Luckily that wasn't the case and we waited for two years. Now is the time.

We will surely miss our family and friends. That's the unfortunate tradeoff of taking a trip of a life time. But we'll chime in every now and then with some words and pictures so you can enjoy seeing and reading about what we will be able to see and experience.  So come on along with us on our cruise to Alaska.

Ed out.
